Week 1: 8.26.19-9.1.19

​

   As an ambassador and previous student orientation leader, this week made me feel like a celebrity. Throughout the week, many students waived to me or came up to me for questions; it was an awesome feeling. I enjoyed helping new students, as well as working events with my friends, such as Bling Your Binder, Sweets with SOLS, the Information Buffet, and the Welcome Desk.

   During these events, we welcomed students with treats, such as cookies and candy, in order to get them motivated to be involved with the university. For Bling Your Binder, this was different as we offered free binders and composition notebooks to students, as well as creative utensils to literally bling their binder. This was fun as I now have a very decorated English binder, as well as newly created memories.

  For the Welcome Desk, this was fun because I was able to see old friends of mine that I did not even realize went to the Blue Ash campus! Although classes starting up has put more stress on me, I feel motivated to Keep Moving Forward in order to succeed and keep to the best of my abilities.
