Week of 12.2.19-12.8.19
This week was slow due to having all my hours. HOWEVER, that did not stop me from providing my help on Wednesday for the Bearcat Academy, attending Daniel's event for support, staying with Stella to keep her company while she worked, and working my own UCBA Honors Lazer Kraze Event.
Bearcat Academy was fun, but took a lot of energy and patience. I worked the academy for its entire duration and saw the many ups and downs that come with hosting 80+ students. Yet, it was a good learning experience for perspective students and once I got home, I took a f a t nap and binge watched The Hunger Games.

Time to act
Daniel's UC Sustainability Evening was AMAZING!! Multiple experts from Cincy and Ohio attended the event to share their expertise on sustainability and inform us how climate change affects Cincy, as well as the state of Ohio.
I learned so much and while that's great, it's also sad. We, as an individualistic society need to start collecting together to help Ohio, let alone the United States, battle against climate change despite anyone who refuse to believe. And even if it is a hoax, might as well help Mother Nature, anyways.
It was enlightening to see that Ohio has leaders ready to act and encourage others in climate change while also being okay with those who do not express similar ideas.

lazer Kraze-honors event
My event, the Honors Lazer Kraze Event, was great. We had fun, played two games (provided by Mr. Gioielli) and had free drinks and pizza. It was great to see some friends before our Winter break began and nice to have fun before exam week.
Since I am the honor's liaison, I had to figure out a way for all of the honor students to come together while doing so in a fun activity. I'm happy for those who came and had fun interacting with one another. I have so many more ideas for next semester (escape room?). Moreover, with the help of AJ and Josh, it was a successful 2 hours at Lazer Kraze.
